Grand Vessel Wash
Once an event, before everything start, this is mandatory. … It's a task for several people.
It may be optimized (feel free to adapt), but what worked so far was the following:
in order to wash throroughly all the vessels: boilers, jerrican/jugs, thermo bottles, teapots themselves
- first a generous “pschitpschit” of vinegar inside. maybe pouring vinegar inside for the large containers. letting it sit a bit and/or swirl… making sure it goes through the mechanical parts (thermo, cannister with a spiggot, boilets).
- then adding 90-100° water… swirling…
→ discarding in the liquid trash
- filling once with 90-100° water and discard.
